What’s in this big blue bin?
Why, it’s the last of my grandfather’s miniatures! This is it. This is all that’s left. I need to go through this box and see what’s inside, as I have no idea. I also plan to divvy up the contents amongst myself and my three cousins, so we all have some of these fantastic pieces. Of course, I see them next weekend, so I better get a move on!
I have similar bins full of mementos and documents pertaining to various ancestors. Some bins are huge, some are small, but I try to keep each bin ancestor-specific. I label the lids according to whose belongings are inside. That way, everything is all together and easy to access for future members of the family.
