On the back of this photograph it reads “Ella Lander.” Unfortunately with no location, it’s hard to figure out who Ella is.

Ella Lander might be swedish. In the swedish census 1900 there are at least 86 persons with the surname Lander. Children are not mentioned with their surnames.
Note discarded toy horse, which possibly escaped photographer’s attention.
