Very interesting top to this woman’s dress. I don’t recall seeing anything like it before. Unfortunately, there is no identifying information for the woman, and the photographer;s imprint has been tampered with. I can make out just a few letters “Roche,” which could be Rochester I suppose.
That is indeed a very interesting take on an 1890’s dress. I’m sure she was very proud of her dress and was considered very fashionable for the times.
