In 2019 the British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa is celebrating their 25th anniversary. To commemorate the event they are holding a Family History Writing Competition. BIFHSGO members are encouraged to write a story related to their British Isles family and submit it to the competition.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • 1st Place – $300
  • 2nd Place – $200
  • 3rd Place – $100

Winners will be announced at the BIFHSGO conference in September 2019.
