{"id":787,"date":"2010-01-30T07:01:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-30T13:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/genealogy.julietarr.com\/blog\/saturday-in-the-attic-013010\/"},"modified":"2013-07-10T19:36:47","modified_gmt":"2013-07-11T00:36:47","slug":"saturday-in-the-attic-013010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/genealogy.julietarr.com\/blog\/saturday-in-the-attic-013010\/","title":{"rendered":"Saturday in the Attic \u2013 01\/30\/10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a copy of the marriage record for my\u00a0 third great-grandparents, James MULLIGAN and Sarah Norton WEBSTER.\u00a0 They were married on 5 November 1865 in Pontiac, Oakland, Michigan.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.ggpht.com\/_udfzp1vLXt0\/S1N6xMgfIMI\/AAAAAAAAFU0\/-pbeYvl3TYs\/MULLIGAN%2C%20James%20MULLIGAN%20%26%20Sarah%20Norton%20WEBSTER%20Marriage%20Record%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800\" width=\"502\" height=\"432\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To my knowledge, James was married twice prior to marrying Sarah.\u00a0 He was first marriage to a Margaret, and had at least four children:\u00a0 Maria, Patrick, Michael, and Bridget.\u00a0 He then married a Sophia, and had three children:\u00a0 Joseph, James P, and Julia.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah was first married to Abram Marshall COFFINGER.\u00a0 The were married on 5 May 1850, in Michigan.\u00a0 Together they had at least five children:\u00a0 Esther Besty, Calvin William, Amos Parks, Emma Amelia, and Mary Ellen.\u00a0 Abram died on 29 September 1863 in Pontiac, Oakland, Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>James and Sarah had at least three children together:\u00a0 Edward Peter, Sarah Jane, and Margaret Elizabeth.\u00a0 Margaret died on 6 February 1886 at the age of 12.<\/p>\n<p>James died on 8 September 1879 in Flint, Genesee, Michigan.\u00a0 Sometime between 1888 and 1892, Sarah, Edward, and Sarah Jane relocated to Chicago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a copy of the marriage record for my\u00a0 third great-grandparents, James MULLIGAN and Sarah Norton WEBSTER.\u00a0 They were married on 5 November 1865 in Pontiac, Oakland, Michigan.
