The states covered include California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington Territory. Some states may have one type of non-population schedule online, but not others.\u201d\u00a0 Since Michigan was on the list, I spent the better part of the day collecting the agricultural schedules for my folks in Oakland County!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cslib.org\/ctarch.htm\">Connecticut Archives, 1629-1820<\/a> \u2013 According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cslib.org\/\">Connecticut State Library\u2019s<\/a> website, \u201cThe \u2018Connecticut Archives\u2019 are the papers and correspondence of the General Assembly, the Governor and Council, and other colony or state officials. Included in this collection are petitions, drafts of bills, acts, resolves, and other early government documents.\u201d\u00a0 Most of them are indexed, and the indexes are available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cslib.org\/ctarch.htm\">online<\/a>.\u00a0 More on this is a separate blog post.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ancestry.com\/wiki\/index.php?title=The_Source:_A_Guidebook_to_American_Genealogy\">The Source:\u00a0 A Guidebook to American Genealogy<\/a> \u2013 The third edition, edited by Loretto Dennis Szucs and Sandra Hargreaves is available online through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ancestry.com\/wiki\/index.php?title=Main_Page\">Ancestry.com Wiki<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s nice to see this online, as I do not own this book.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ancestry.com\/wiki\/index.php?title=Red_Book:_American_State,_County,_and_Town_Sources\">Red Book: American State, County, and Town Sources<\/a> \u2013 The third edition of this book, edited by Alice Eichholz, is also available online through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ancestry.com\/wiki\/index.php?title=Main_Page\">Ancestry.com Wiki<\/a>.\u00a0 Although I own this book, it\u2019s nice to have an online version for the times I need it when I\u2019m away from home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.eogn.com\/eastmans_online_genealogy\/2010\/04\/the-federation-of-genealogical-societies-to-digitize-war-of-1812-pension-files.html\">The Federation of Genealogical Societies to Digitize War of 1812 Pension Files<\/a> \u2013 I\u2019ve know about this for awhile now, but keep forgetting to post about it.\u00a0 Running across Dick Eastman\u2019s post, I figured now was as good a time as any.\u00a0 The post also includes some general information about the War of 1812 and pension files.\u00a0 I made three seperate donations:\u00a0 one in honor of Marsha Hoffman Rising, and the other two for my fifth great-grandfathers who served in the war, Robert Parks and Aaron Webster.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pilot.familysearch.org\/recordsearch\/start.html#start\">FamilySearch Record Search<\/a> \u2013 Tons of new records available this week!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=6RLMX6OOgsAC&amp;printsec=frontcover&amp;source=gbs_v2_summary_r&amp;cad=0#v=onepage&amp;q&amp;f=false\">Historical Register and Dictionary of the United States Army<\/a> (1789-1903) \u2013 This book, by Francis B.
