It started in 2012, with follow ups in 2015 and 2017. Now it\u2019s 2019, so I thought I\u2019d provide another update.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/julietarr.com\/genealogy\/blog\/images\/e7a78899d1d5_12C41\/Whats-Your-Number-2019.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"What's Your Number 2019\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"What's Your Number 2019\" src=\"http:\/\/julietarr.com\/genealogy\/blog\/images\/e7a78899d1d5_12C41\/Whats-Your-Number-2019_thumb.jpg\" width=\"577\" height=\"302\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I found 10 new ancestors! And, it\u2019s possible that there are two more third great-grandparents, four more fourth greats, and two more fifth greats (gotta love DNA!). One of my projects for 2020 is working through these <em>potential<\/em> ancestors. <\/p>\n<p>These new-found ancestors were all on my mom\u2019s side\u2014the Germans! It\u2019s pretty cool that I\u2019m getting closer to identifying all of my third great-grandparents (all 32 of them!). And, if I can get through the church records I amassed this year, I might be able to identify more fourth and fifth great-grandparents.<\/p>\n<p>I think this is a neat way to visually see just what I\u2019ve accomplished over the years. It reminds me that our research is never done, and that if you stick with it, you can find those elusive ancestors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I seem to get around to the every two years.
