Week 35 Prompt:<\/strong> At Work <\/p>\n

This week\u2019s 52 Ancestors<\/a> theme is\u201dAt Work.\u201d I actually have some photos of my maternal grandfather at work. According to my mom: \u201cDad never liked working for anyone else. He went through a lot of jobs because he didn\u2019t like someone telling him how to do his job. That\u2019s why he started his own business.\u201d Perhaps that\u2019s where I get my entrepreneurial spirit (for exactly the same reasons!).<\/p>\n

And just where did he do all this? At home, in the basement! Yes, all that equipment (and more) was in the basement. When he moved his operation to the basement, Coleman Instruments was his main customer. He made parts for machines\u2014aluminum plates, square brass pieces, etc.  <\/p>\n
