Simple Gifts Blog Hop \u2013 Using the Stitching Software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend, I started to experiment with my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tkqlhce.com\/click-7198466-11364829\">Flip-Pal Mobile Scanner<\/a>.\u00a0 And although I\u2019ve not been able to do much with it this last week (been away for a few days) I have been thinking about what \u201cgifts\u201d I\u2019m going to work on.\u00a0 I\u2019ve had a few ideas in mind, but hadn\u2019t really committed to any of them.\u00a0 Since this Blog Hop ends on the 25th, I figured I\u2019d better commit to something, which I will start posting about soon.\u00a0 In the meantime, I put together a demonstration of how to use the stitching software, which stitches together multiple scans into one piece.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In this example, I scanned a large, framed cross-stitch that my mom did back in 2003.\u00a0 I took 12 scans and used the software to put it together into one image.\u00a0 All I have to say is WOW!\u00a0 I\u2019ve recorded the whole process in real-time so that you can see not only how quick it is, but that I\u2019ve not altered the image in any way\u2026it really does a fantastic job!<\/p>\n<p>Be forewarned, this is my first-ever video of any kind.\u00a0 But I think it turned out pretty darn good in only 2 takes!\u00a0 So not only was I experimenting with the scanner, I played around with the video capture feature in SnagIt.\u00a0 This may have opened up a new avenue for me with my how-to blog posts.<\/p>\n<p><iframe
