I was really looking forward to reading this book.  Family history mystery meets paranormal, a great concept.  Unfortunately, I was let down.  The storyline itself is fine, a little more bizarre than I would have imagined, but that\u2019s what fiction is all about, so fine. <\/p>\n

My issue is the way it was written.  It\u2019s very disjointed and the transitions aren\u2019t great, which made reading the book unenjoyable.  I want a book that has a good flow and keeps me following along, and this book did not deliver in that respect.  I was constantly stopping, rereading, and getting frustrated, and in fact, there were several times that I considered not finishing the book.  But, I\u2019m not a quitter, so to the end I read.  All in all, decent story, could have been written smoother.<\/p>\n
