Discounted early-bird registration for the 2014 Federation of Genealogical Societies Conference will continue <i>only until July 1st<\/i>. Early registrants receive a $50 discount for the full four days, or a $20 discount for any single day. Details at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fgsconference.org\">http:\/\/www.fgsconference.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will be held August 27-30, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. This year\u2019s conference theme is \u201cGone to Texas,\u201d and the local hosts are the San Antonio Genealogical and Historical Society (SAGHS) and the Texas State Genealogical Society (TSGS).&nbsp; Platinum sponsors are FamilySearch, FindMyPast.com and Ancestry.com.&nbsp; Corporate sponsors are Dell and Lexmark. <\/p>\n<p>The conference offers opportunities for all who are interested in researching their family history, with over 160 educational sessions on records, strategies, and tools for genealogists at all levels.
