Synopsis:<\/strong>  (from Amazon)  Liz Carter is forensic scientist, the only daughter of Philip Carter, a linguist, and Alexandra, a nurse.  One day Liz\u2019s parents are killed in a car crash and she finds herself alone in the world without any family.  As Liz searches for her dead parents birth certificates she un covers a mystery and to her amazement discovers that her mother had been married before to a scientist and had had two children.  What secrets were her parents taking to their graves?  Why had she never been told the truth?  I desperation she sets out to find her missing brother and sister.  An intriguing plot, with coincidences tumbling out of the enigma.  Will Liz ever find her real family?<\/p>\n

This genealogical mystery follows a young woman on her journey to learn the truth about her family after she discovers the father she knew may not be her birth father.  The book is just like genealogy research, there are twists and turns, happy dances and brick walls.<\/p>\n

I did enjoy the book, the storyline, and the major twist.  Overall, the story is well-constructed.  The writing is a little stilted and I\u2019m not sure if that\u2019s a UK thing or not.  Nonetheless, I found myself sharing in the joys and sorrows the main character experienced throughout her journey. <\/p>\n

The book is a little shorter than some of the other genealogical mysteries out there and could use a good editor, but for a $0.99 Kindle book, it\u2019s not a bad read.<\/p>\n
