padding-right: 0px; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;\" title=\"Arizona\" alt=\"Arizona\" src=\"http:\/\/julietarr.com\/genealogy\/blog\/images\/Genealogy-By-the-States--Week-48--Arizon_F635\/Arizona.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"82\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t do a lot of research in Arizona, but I do have some family members who relocated there later in their lives.\u00a0 I knew that my second great-grandfather, Herman Leppin, died in Phoenix, but I didn\u2019t have an exact date or death record.\u00a0 Fortunately, several years ago, the <a href=\"http:\/\/genealogy.az.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arizona Department of Health<\/a> has digitized and made available online, death certificates from 1861 to 1962 (as well as birth certificates from 1855-1937).<\/p>\n<p>So back in 2010, I was able to obtain the death certificate for Herman through this website.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
