way to Utah, many of them ending up in the Salt Lake City area.\u00a0 Because they are very distant, I don\u2019t spend much time on them these days.\u00a0 But, if I did have some time, I know of two websites I would hit up immediately for some information:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/familysearch.org\" target=\"_blank\">FamilySearch<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalnewspapers.org\/\/\" target=\"_blank\">Utah Digital Newspapers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For obvious reasons there are a ton of record sets on the <a href=\"https:\/\/familysearch.org\" target=\"_blank\">FamilySearch<\/a> website, many of them digitized.\u00a0 There are <a href=\"https:\/\/familysearch.org\/search\/collection\/1747615\" target=\"_blank\">death certificates<\/a> from 1904 to 1956, <a href=\"https:\/\/familysearch.org\/search\/collection\/1854318\" target=\"_blank\">territorial case files<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/familysearch.org\/search\/collection\/1675546\" target=\"_blank\">marriage index<\/a> from 1887 to 1966, and even <a href=\"https:\/\/familysearch.org\/search\/collection\/1916182\" target=\"_blank\">probate records<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/digitalnewspapers.org\/\/\" target=\"_blank\">Utah Digital Newspapers<\/a> is a website that is building a repository of digitized newspapers accessible to the public for free.\u00a0 They have a huge collection already and continue to add to it all the time.<\/p>\n<p>I picked a few random names from my database and did some searching on both sites and found some new information.\u00a0 Ahh, if only I had more time to dig!!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hiddengenealogynuggets.com\/genealogyblog\/category\/genealogy-by-the-states\/\"
