This lovely couple had their photograph taken by H W Craig of Marietta, Ohio.  Unfortunately, there is nothing written on this cabinet card to identify the couple.<\/p>\n

The photographer is Henry W Craig, who is found living in Marietta, Ohio, age 45, with the occupation of photographer.  A little bit of digging revealed that Henry was born in Cleveland, married first Sarah J Messenger on 13 February 1879 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  The next year, they had a son, Roy E, born 18 July 1880 in Cleveland.  I am not sure what happens to Sarah, but Henry is found in 1899 marrying Eva (Brohenshise) Robertson (in Cuyahoga County, he is listed as living in Marietta).  In the 1900 census, he is living with second wife, Eva, and son Roy in Marietta.<\/p>\n

In the 1902 Marietta city directory, both Henry and his son are listed at the same business (270-272 Front) and home address as photographers.  By 1905, both Henry and Roy are absent from the city directory, and now listed as a photographer at the same Front Street address is Helen W Clogston.  I am not able to find Henry beyond this 1902 city directory listing, other than a Find A Grave listing indicating he died in 1922.<\/p>\n
