much research in the state of Missouri, although I wish I had more relatives to research because records are pretty accessible.\u00a0 In preparation of this post, I checked my database to see what families were associated with Missouri, and as I suspected, not many.\u00a0 However, I did find the family of my husband\u2019s great-grandaunt, Sarah Frances (Orendorff) Jonagan, who moved from Fulton County, Illinois, to Gentry County, Missouri, sometime between 1870 and 1880.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I knew there were actual vital records online, but I didn\u2019t know exactly what, where, or the time periods of coverage.\u00a0 It appeared from my research that I had previously exhausted everything on Ancestry, finding a few birth and marriage records.\u00a0 But where were the death records\u2026I could have sworn they were online somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>So off to my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diigo.com\/user\/joodles77\/US%3AMissouri\" target=\"_blank\">Diigo bookmarks for Missouri<\/a> I went.\u00a0 I spotted a resource I had added back in 2010, <a href=\"http:\/\/sos.mo.gov\/mdh\/\" target=\"_blank\">Missouri Digital Heritage<\/a>, and by the description I had added, I was pretty certain I would find the death records.\u00a0 And there they were, <a href=\"http:\/\/sos.mo.gov\/archives\/resources\/deathcertificates\/default.asp\" target=\"_blank\">Missouri Death Certificates<\/a>!\u00a0 Digital images of Missouri death certificates are currently available for 1910 to 1962.<\/p>\n<p>A surname-only search produced a handful of death certificates related to the family.\u00a0 I love when records are online and accessible!\u00a0 Makes my research so much easier!!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><a
