Ready to Roll"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve decided to go ahead and compete in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/event.php?eid=33129285258\">Genea-Blogger Group Games<\/a>, albeit at the last minute (hey, better late than never).\u00a0 It&#8217;s funny that this came when it did since I have either been in the middle of doing some of these or on the verge of getting started.\u00a0 I figure the Games will hold me accountable and keep me on track.\u00a0 So, without further ado, off to the Opening Ceremonies I go!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>My Flag<br \/>\n<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/pics.livejournal.com\/juliemc77\/pic\/00002qbg\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/pics.livejournal.com\/juliemc77\/pic\/00002qbg\/s320x240\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>My flag represents the American, German, and Irish sides of my heritage.\u00a0 I have some English and Swedish in me too, but mainly Irish (dad&#8217;s side) and German (mom&#8217;s side).<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Go Back and Cite Your Sources!<\/strong><br \/>\nAs you can see from an earlier post, I&#8217;m in the middle of doing this.\u00a0 I should have no problem doing 50+ in two weeks since I probably did well over that in about a week.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been pretty good about sourcing the people in my tree, in general, but not to a granular level, which is what I&#8217;ve been working on.\u00a0 Additionally, I upgraded Legacy and have been revamping sources with the new features available.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a challenge and a bit of a pain, but I&#8217;m ready and willing!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organize Your Research!<\/strong><br \/>\nI am a highly organized person, but I&#8217;m taking this as an opportunity to complete some long-overdue tasks.\u00a0 I&#8217;d like to take all of the digital images I have and add descriptions, owner\/source, and tags for searching.\u00a0 I also plan to organize my hard-copy photos;
