Do you get a sense of motion sickness or dizziness when you’re using microfilm? I know I do (and with my health condition, I’m dizzy most of the time).
One thing I’ve used for the last seven years came by way of a pregnant friend who had terrible morning sickness. They’re little wrist bands that use acupressure on the pressure points in your wrists to reduce the effects of nausea and dizziness. I find they also come in handy while using the microfilm reader and thought I’d share it with my readers who may have they same issue.
The brand I use is Sea Band, which can be found at Walgreens, both in the store and online. It’s usually near the motion sickness medications such as Dramamine.
Julie:
I use these too! I get easily motion sick and these really work. Hate it when I forget a pair so I keep a spare in the car now.

My newly-pregnant daughter had these when she was home over Christmas. Both daughters talked about “c-bands” and I didn’t understand that they are “Sea-bands.” It all makes sense to me now. Thanks for the tip.
My stepmother the physical therapist has often recommended that accupressure point for nausea. These are a great idea. I get motion sick in a rocking chair.
