
I must apologize to my readers as I thought I had posted about the new Carl Sandburg Institute of Genealogy (CSI-Genealogy) that will be held in Galesburg, Illinois, May 28 to June 1, 2015. Apparently, I did not, so here’s the scoop.
Over the course of 4-1/2 days, attendees attend a variety of classes/lectures specific to the track they choose. The four tracks that are available are:
- Advanced Methodology and Analysis with Michael John Neill
- Germanic Research Sources and Methods with Teresa Steinkamp McMillin
- Refining Internet and Digital Skills for Genealogy with Cyndi Ingle
- The Advanced Genealogist: Research Standards, Tools & Records with Debbie Mieszala

This institute will be held on the campus of Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois. Classes will be held in modern comfortable classrooms and attendees will have complimentary access to wifi to enhance their educational experience.
The registration fee is $400. You must selected the track you want to attend when you register. A meal plan can be added at the time of registration or after and is $150.
