I had intended to participate in the last few carnivals, but the new discoveries I’ve made in the last few weeks has put me into full research mode. I’m trying to put all of the pieces together so I can write a mini family history for a long-lost, but not forgotten cousin. I’m doing this for two reasons. First, I came to the conclusion that he was family and contacted him last week. He was a little leery, but still provided some helpful information. I want to give back to him. Second, I hope that he can then fill in any missing information, providing me with a more complete picture of our family and/or new research avenues. As an added bonus, this will be my first “official” written family history.
With all of that said, I am trying to get this done within the next week or so, therefore, blog posts may be sparse. At a minimum, I will be posting the November Carnival/Meme Roundup (waiting on Elizabeth to post her carnival), and my regular columns.
Hi Julie,
