I don’t have too many ties to Montana, but I did manage to find a resource that may be helpful for those researching in Montana. It’s the Montana History Wiki, which was implemented to help researchers navigate the Montana Historical Society Research Center. There does seem to be some information beyond the Research Center, including Contributions from the Public. Genealogists will find the Genealogy Guide helpful, especially if you are just starting to research in Montana.
Genealogy By the States is a theme created by Jim Sanders over at the Hidden Genealogy Nuggets blog.
