Not one person in my database has ties to Mississippi. So off to my Diigo bookmarks to see what resources I had for Mississippi. Only a few, but one seemed pretty interesting. It’s called Mississippi History Now, which is an online publication of the Mississippi Historical Society.
There are a variety of articles covering an array of topics. You can browse or search the articles. They are even broken down into topics, such as Civil War and General History. Want to learn more about Mississippi when it was under British rule? There’s an article for that. What about catfish farming? There’s an article for that too, along with a recipe for fried catfish.
It’s a pretty neat site…I encourage you to explore it at your leisure!
