Thank you for including Collecting Cousins in your post, Julie! I took a wonderful family history research trip in June and hope to find the time to blog about it soon. There is nothing like on-site research for breaking through those brick walls. I hope you will also check out CensusTools, another genealogy site of mine with spreadsheet templates for all of the US federal and state censuses. Visitors can download the 1940 census spreadsheet template for free, and I’m working on a city directory log as well.
