Well I certainly did better in 2019 than I did in 2018! Let’s review what my 2019 goals were and what I actually managed to accomplish.

  • I wanted to relaunch my business. I sort of did, I just haven’t announced it yet, because there are a few other things I need in place before I do. This should be done just after the first of the year. Stay tuned!
  • I planned to work on a few books throughout the year. I didn’t get as far as I wanted, so this will go back on the list for 2020.
  • I planed to publish several articles in 2019. Of the two I had lined up before then end of 2018, I wrote and submitted one of them, but it won’t be published until after the first of the year. The other got delayed and is due at the end of this year. I also started writing a column, but the first article will not be published until March 2020. So, sort of accomplished??
  • I planned to blog more—AND I DID!!! I managed to blog at least once a week by partaking in the 52 Ancestors challenge.
  • I planed to attend my first APG Professional Management Conference. I was able to attend the conference, which was held in Salt Lake City in September. Had a blast and can’t wait for 2020!

One thing that wasn’t on my list was putting together the Level 1 project for accreditation with ICAPGen. I spent every waking hour for four weeks putting it together. I submitted it in May and a month or so later I was notified that I had passed. So guess what goes on my 2020 list? That’s right, finish the process!

So what’s on tap for 2020?

  • Formally relaunch my business. Soon, I’m almost there!
  • Write at least one book. I have several planned and in various stages. I really want to finish one and publish in 2020.
  • Finish the accreditation process.
  • Attend Gen-Fed (fingers crossed!).
  • Attend my second APG Professional Management Conference.

What about you? What did you accomplish this year? What goals are you setting for next year? Please share, I’d love to hear what’s going on with you!
