The annual fall conference of the Illinois State Genealogical Society (ISGS) will be held Friday, October 23 to Saturday, October 24 in Oak Lawn, Illinois.  Paula Stuart-Warren is the featured speaker and will present the following lectures:

  • Genealogy Goldmine: Records of Old Settlers Organizations
  • The WPA Era: What it Created for Genealogists
  • Finding & Using Manuscripts and Special Collections Repositories
  • Midwestern & Plains States Level Census Records

In addition to these lectures, many other topics will be covered by speakers including Tony Burroughs, Thomas MacEntee, Ruth Ann Abels Hager, Carol Chandler, Grace Dumelle, George Findlen, Janis Minor Forté, Jane G. Haldeman, and John C. Heider.  Geoffrey Baer is the guest speaker for the Friday evening dinner and reception.
