The Computer Assisted Genealogy Group Northern Illinois is holding its first all-day conference, GeneaQuest, on May 17, 2014, at Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois.  According to their website, “GeneaQuest 2014 is a full day of genealogy education, highlighting genealogy technology of the future.”

Sessions include the following:

  • Genetic Genealogy
  • Genealogy Apps / Google Tools
  • Flip-Pal and Picasa
  • Family Tree Maker / Ancestry.com

Keynote speaker, Thomas MacEntee, will present the morning keynote, a lunchtime program, and a closing session.

Registration is $50 for members and $60 for non-members before April 30, 2014 (afterward, it is $70 for everyone).
